Rubio Long Snapping traveled to North Carolina on July 11th, 2016 for their summer camp. Rubio Long Snapping will be back in Illinois on November 20th. You can register for that camp HERE.
Long Snappers from NC, VA, OH, NY, PA, KY, SC, MA, IL, TX & TN all traveled to get the best instruction and the most exposure possible for Long Snapping.
The overall camp champion was TYLER KEATON (NC, ’17)! Keaton was nails under pressure winning the accuracy and overall championship in NC. Body is thick and he moves well on his feet. Locking down his spiral and increasing his speed a bit will really push him up the rankings.
Top 2017 Long Snappers
Mitch Hall was a machine in NC. Ball is extremely smooth and he didn’t have a bad snap all day. Kid was on fire and can snap at the next level right now. Very accurate Long Snapper that continues to impress me with his snapping and attitude.
Kanyon Combs looked excellent with very fast snaps that can hover in the low .7s and great athleticism.
Ryan Schwind can pass an eyeball test well and snaps with good power. Ball is consistently in the .7s and on target. Great upside. keep a very close eye on this Long Snapper from VA.
Thomas Bowling is a very athletic Long Snapper with good pop and a smooth ball to the punter. Always improving.
Austin Reeves is very smooth and always snapping a catchable ball. The harder he snaps the ball, the better he does.
Bryant Sasser has a long frame, good snap speed and upside. Love to see him put on some size and snap with more confidence. Good potential.
NOTABLES: Joe Christian, Zach Cannon, John Lawson, Ryan Watkins, Tucker Mullis
Top 2018 Long Snappers
Maddie Golden was throwing some severe heat. Strong framed and has great form. The bigger he gets, the better he does. Laser focused and can dominate a camp. Wouldn’t surprise me one bit to see him win a big Event soon.
Brock Assel has grown about a foot and it has really paid off with his snapping. He looked the best I have seen him in the past year and looks to move way up the charts. Watch him closely.
Matt Aloni is a thick Long Snapper with good form and upside. His hands are like rockets.
AJ Covan is one of the smoothest and most accurate Long Snappers in his class. Locking down some more speed and getting him into the .7s by XXIX will be huge for him as he shoots for TOP 12.
NOTABLES: Trey Gable, Michael Vojvodich, Corbin Robertson, Max Durschlag,
Top 2019 Long Snappers
Drew Little did really well all day in NC. Form is excellent for his age and he is starting to grow to dominate. When he snaps with absolute full power, he is incredible. Great work ethic.
Luke Rizzo is a good physical athlete that is coming along nicely. The more I see him, the better he looks. Keep a very close eye on him in Texas and at XXIX.
NOTABLES: Garrett Karres, Brad George, Matthew Gastaldo, Liam Crowley
Top 2020 and 2021 Long Snappers
Ryan Purcell was the best overall 2020 Long Snapper in attendance. He can already hit in the .8s with his great form and strong snaps.
Michael Bowles is a very smooth Long Snapper with great form. As he continues to mature, he will gain speed and power.
Will Mitchell is a very good Long Snapper with excellent form for his age. Good upside and he is going to be big.
Stewart Jones was a solid 2021 Long Snapper with good power and quick hands.
Trent McGaughey is a massive Long Snapper for his age that is absolutely dripping with potential. Once he gets the snapping motion down, he will crush the punter. Quick learner.
- My rankings are NOT done just from The Rubio Target and will always be announced when they are completed on social media. For summer camps, they have been promised by October 1, 2016 due to the amount of travel Rubio Long Snapping will have to do.
- My rankings are NOT done from some mathematical formula.
- My rankings ARE done by me and my several select member of my senior staff. That is why they take a good amount of time. (Think of it this way, it takes MONTHS to build a Rolls Royce but only hours to build an average car)
- My rankings are based off of this blog I wrote about what makes a Long Snapper great.
- If you would like anything added to your profile page, simply email me (Rubio@RubioLongSnapping.com) the information and consider it done.
- All Long Snappers are ranked after their first fall camp of their freshman year in high school.
A Long Snapper has the ability to adjust their ranking anytime I see them LIVE, not on video.
