Chris-Rubio-2Rubio Long Snapping is, by far, the biggest and best resource for Long Snappers in the country. Offering the best instruction and most exposure in the world. Rubio Long Snapping can help you to become the best snapper you can be!

In just 12 years, Chris Rubio, President and Owner of Rubio Long Snapping, has become the #1 Long Snapping instructor in the country and the go-to man when a college coach needs a Long Snapper. Colleges from across the country rely on “Rubio’s” word day in and day out on who the best Long Snappers are in the country. Rubio Long Snapping has assisted in over 300 Long Snappers earning FULL SCHOLARSHIPS to major colleges and universities just for Long Snapping and many into the NFL as well.

Recap of the College Camp (July 16-17, 2016)

J-A-VstrsMany of the top college Long Snappers in the country came out to the incredible IMG ACADEMY in Bradenton, FL for two days of great instruction and camaraderie. This is always one of my favorite camps due to the high level of snapping and getting to see all of the Long Snapper’s personalities.

Josh Appel

Josh Appel

The top overall Long Snapper was Josh Appel of Indiana State. Appel is a back to back champion of this camp and is looking very solid heading into his senior year and future in the NFL. He has great size, an incredibly fast snap (not uncommon to see him in snap in the .6s and EVEN high .5s for 15 yards). Keep a close eye on Appel and you will not be disappointed.

Dillon Paprota

Dillon Paprota

The Accuracy Champion of the camp was Dillon Paprota of Bucknell. Paprota is just heading to Bucknell this fall but already looks like a seasoned vet. He has excellent size and strength with an extremely powerful snap. Accuracy is obviously off the charts and he has a great demeanor. Already expecting him to win this camp next year.

TOP LONG SNAPPERS

Drew Williams of South Carolina is going to be one of the top overall Long Snappers in college next year with his outstanding speed, solid accuracy and great athleticism for the Gamecocks.

Ryan Farr of the Florida Gators was on fire at the college camp. This left is very smooth and his accuracy is excellent. Only going into his second season with the Florida Gators and they look to be set for some time with his great snaps.

Tanner Carew of the Oregon Ducks was excellent all camps. Athletic Long Snapper with very good power and an incredibly smooth snap. Always fun to watch Carew snap and see his personality.

Recap of the NC Camp (3/13)

12814074_969087929834004_1802732804974303182_nRubio Long Snapping traveled to NC on March 13th for their spring camp.

Long Snappers came out from NY, VA, GA, IL, SC, MA, OH, NJ, IL, WI, CT, PA, TN, MI & NC to learn from the best instruction and the most exposure possible for Long Snapping.

The overall winner of the camp was Noah Turner (NC, ’18)! Noah was on fire all day and deserved the win. Kid snaps with great power for his age and has form. Upside is off the charts for this Long Snapper from NC. He is very good for his age and just looks to keep getting better.

TOP 2016 LONG SNAPPERS:

Jack Quiggle

Jack Quiggle

Jack Quiggle was on his game and dominated in NC. VERY athletic Long Snapper that will transition well into the college game with added size. Very good attitude and upside.

  • Harrison Freeman is large and smooth with his snapping. Passes an eyeball test quickly and is really learning to snap with full power. Great attitude.
  • Wyman Baxley has unlimited potential. Incredible athlete that flies down the field.
  • Riley John is coming along nicely. Improving rapidly.
  • Jack Wellenhoffer is flat out just good and getting better.

Notables: Chandler Honeycutt, Charles McDonough and Austin Kliewer

TOP 2017 LONG SNAPPERS:

Mitch Hall

Mitch Hall

Mitch Hall is growing like a weed and snapping like a college Long Snapper. Form is impeccable and he rips it back to the punter. Great attitude and he is always improving.

  • Kyle O’Connor is VERY accurate and consistent. Ball is almost always in The Rubio Zone. Watch him VERY closely at XXVIII in May.
  • Marshall Coluzzi had a great day in NC. Incredible accurate and consistent Long Snapper. When he is his groove, he is dominant.
  • Kevin Crabtree is REALLY coming along nicely and could easily nab an EVENT ELITE spot at XXVIII in May.
  • Ryan Culbertson is smooth and very consistent. Really need to see him explode out of the gate instead of sliding into the snapping motion.
  • Kyle Davis was impressive in NC with his power and form.
  • Austin Reeves is a smooth Long Snapper with good upside. Consistency of speed and more snaps in The Rubio Zone is what I will be searching for at XXVIII in May.
  • Callen Davidson is smooth and consistent. Trusting his form to let the ball fly out of his hands will help a ton.
  • Ryan Schwind moves well and can be dominant.

Notables: Ryan Watkins, Jason Anderson, Logan Odum, Nick Low, Carson Tebbetts and Gunner Daniel

TOP 2018 LONG SNAPPERS:

Noah Turner

Noah Turner

Noah Turner was the best 2018 Long Snapper in attendance. Strong, powerful and uses his whole body really well. Upside is very good.

  • Jack Hadley is strong and getting better by the second. Keep a VERY close eye on this Long Snapper from NJ.
  • Maddie Golden came out and really impressed me. This kid is good and going to be great.
  • Kent Vines was on par all day with the top Long Snappers in NC. Always improving.
  • James Rosenberry is one of the most accurate and consistent Long Snappers in his class.
  • AJ Covan can find a groove and then it is over for the rest of his class. VERY accurate.

Notables: Max Durschlag, Matt Aloni

TOP 2019 LONG SNAPPERS:

Rhys Suter

Rhys Suter

Rhys Suter shows great poise, form and speed for his age. Dominant freshman in NC and the sky is the limit.

  • Drew Little has great form, a tremendous attitude and is always improving.
  • Dylan McCardel was good from start to finish. Upside.

Notables: Garrett Karres, Liam Crowley and John Morton
KEY POINTS:

  • My rankings are NOT done just from The Rubio Target
  • My rankings are NOT done from some mathematical formula.
  • My rankings ARE done by me and only me. That is why they take a good amount of time. (Think of it this way, it takes MONTHS to build a Rolls Royce but only hours to build an average car)
  • My rankings are based off of this blog I wrote about what makes a Long Snapper great.
  • If you would like anything added to your profile page, simply email me (Rubio@RubioLongSnapping.com) the information and consider it done.
  • All Long Snappers are ranked after their first fall camp of their freshman year in high school.

A Long Snapper has the ability to adjust their ranking anytime I see them LIVE, not on video.

For the profiles section, simply go to RubioLongSnapping.com. click PLAYER PROFILES, click which class, click LONG SNAPPERS and find your name.
