Camp Champion – Kameron Hawkins

Long Snappers from NV, WA, FL, ID, OR, NM, CO & CANADA all traveled to get the best instruction and the most exposure possible for Long Snapping.

The overall camp champion was Kameron Hawkins (CA, ’20). Kameron has some of the best form in the country….for any grade level. Extremely accurate and consistent with a smooth ball. Balance is great and so is his attitude. Improving athletically by the hour. His victory earned him a free admission to VEGAS 30 on May 13-14!

You can see the full finals (Cody Clements 40.5, Kameron Hawkins 39.7, Flynn McPheron 32.2, Alec Eckert 30.3, Dylan Black 28.5, Evan Dvorchik 24.0) below ….

Zack Jenkins

Zack Jenkins was snapping a smooth ball and had a lot of confidence. Very solid athlete that dominated the agility section of the camp. Linfield college will love how he gets downfield!

Cody Clements is a large Long Snapper with great form and solid power. The harder he snaps the ball, the better he does. Great attitude and work ethic. Eastern Washington will love his demeanor.

Evan Dvorchik had a great day as he came all the way from Florida! Getting bigger and stronger by the second and it showed as he won the speed competition during the afternoon session.

Justin Babcock is a very athletic and large Long Snapper that showed great promise. Raw with massive upside. Babcock could dominate VEGAS 30 and easily earn a TOP 12 Camp spot.

Spencer Luce had a great day in WA with his athleticism and quick hands being showcased throughout the day. His size is improving and he is very consistent with speed. He has really quick hands that causes the ball to jump out the gate like a rocket!

Jacob Torres came up from southern Idaho and did really well for his first Rubio Long Snapping camp. Thick and strong with good power. Consistent Long Snapper that is very good listener and learns quickly.

Kellen Dyer has a great attitude and solid form. He is always improving and is an absolute workhorse. You tell Dyer to do something and you can just consider it done.

Flynn McPheron showed good promise with his large frame and raw strength. Fine tuning his form and being quicker will make him a top recruit for the class of 2018.

Notables: Seth Rogers

Dylan Black

Dylan Black had a good overall day in WA. When he is on, he is very on. Accuracy is good and he was about 2 inches from winning the whole camp! Locking down his quickness will push him way up. Keep a very close eye on him at VEGAS 30. It is all starting to come together for Black!

James Durr did really well in WA. Body is good and he moved well on his feet. Form is very good and his snaps can be quick for 15 yards. Locking down his release point will be huge at VEGAS 30.

Jake Wright was very solid in WA. Extremely athletic Long Snapper that is built well and solid as a rock. Once he gets quicker with his hands, he will be a dominant factor in his class. Love his attitude.

Ethan Bonifacio is an extremely thick and powerful Long Snapper with a smooth snapping motion and release. Works well under pressure and REALLY athletic for his size.

Notables: Josiah Hirsch, Drew Maycumber, Neo Sather

Cameron Landes

Cameron Landes is a young Long Snapper with a ton of potential. He is built really long and is dominant on the athletic front. Smooth Long Snapper that could easily be one of the top Long Snappers in his class.

Jack Laurin has very good form and balance. He definitely was impressive for his age and shows great promise.

Grayson Pibal did really well in WA. He is built long and has great form. Love how he follows through and when he snaps with full power, he dominates his class.

Alec Eckert is a 2021 Long Snapper with a massive amount of upside. He is very strong for his age and he handles pressure well. Alec can already snap in the high .8s when he is on. He is dripping with potential.

* My rankings are NOT done just from The Rubio Target and will always be announced when they are completed on social media (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat.)
* My rankings are NOT done from some mathematical formula.
* My rankings ARE done by me and my several select members of my senior staff. That is why they take a good amount of time. (Think of it this way, it takes MONTHS to build a Rolls Royce but only hours to build an average car)
* My rankings are based off of THIS blog I wrote about what makes a Long Snapper great.
* If you would like anything added to your profile page, simply email me ( the information and consider it done.
* All Long Snappers are ranked after their first fall camp of their freshman year in high school.

A Long Snapper has the ability to adjust their ranking anytime I see them LIVE, not on video.
