What is your fondest memory of your time playing college football?\u00a0<\/strong>Reflecting on college there isn\u2019t one memory that sticks out, rather just a collection of great memories and experiences that all blend together for an experience I wouldn\u2019t trade for anything.<\/em><\/p>\n

If you could give ONE bit of advice to the current Rubio Long Snappers, what would it be?<\/strong>\u00a0Snapping PARENTS, what would it be?<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Current snappers: <\/strong>Don\u2019t make long snapping your whole identity and just relax. Your time playing football is maybe 15% of your whole life, and you don\u2019t want to be so locked in and rigid on one thing. Develop a personality, make some memories, and focus on being a good person.<\/em><\/p>\n

Current parents: <\/strong>Spread out. Whether it is the recruiting process, speaking to instructors, coaches, teachers, etc., let your child take the lead on discussions and engagement. It will help them develop a personality, learn to be a functioning human being, and get comfortable with the uncomfortable. This will pay dividends throughout their life.<\/em><\/p>\n

When was the last time you snapped a ball and for what reason?<\/strong> It was a few years ago, and I was giving a lesson. Was trying to explain how to hit the \u201c4\u201d follow through. Didn\u2019t go so well, and now I follow the \u201cthose who can\u2019t do, teach\u201d and \u201cdo as I say, not as I do\u201d mantras. <\/em><\/p>\n

If you could go back and play football in college again, would you go to the same school or a different one? Why?<\/strong>\u00a0From an experience standpoint, I would go to Kansas State again for sure. I loved the town, people, location, etc. HOWEVER, NIL is a variable my generation didn\u2019t have to deal with, and hearing how much athletes are making, it would be hard to pass up opportunities that may more lucrative than others. \u00a0\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Any regrets during college?<\/strong>\u00a0Anything you wish you had done or hadn\u2019t done? <\/strong>I wish I hadn\u2019t rushed out as quickly as I did. I started as a true freshman and graduated in 3.5 years. I was so focused on trying to go pro and life after college, I kind of fast tracked anything. Looking back (especially with the landscape of college football today), would have loved to had a couple more years of school, getting to hangout with friends, working out, limited responsibilities, etc.<\/em><\/p>\n

What tremendous thing have you been a part of or experienced since you graduated? <\/strong>Starting a family with my wife and watching our daughters grow over the years and see their development and accomplishments.<\/em><\/p>\n
