To paraphrase&#8230;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>\u201cThe Leadership Council is a position of respect,\u201d said first-year head coach <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gopack.com\/sports\/m-footbl\/mtt\/dave_doeren_831270.html\">Dave Doeren<\/a>.\u00a0 \u201cIt empowers these guys.\u00a0 This position is not a recognition of athletic ability, but leadership ability. I will go to this group with decisions that I want player input on and if a player wants something brought to a coach they will go to the council and the council will bring it to us.\u00a0 It gives them a voice.&#8221;<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Scott has been with Rubio Long Snapping since his 8th grade year out in Southern California.
