SoloShot will on hand at VEGAS XXV! Yesterday, I had a great meeting with them on the phone regarding fully implementing the “robot cameraman” into the Long Snappers regimen on Sunday during competition day. We both agreed it would be great to get some film of them when they are ….. nah, you are going to have to wait and find out:)

SoloShot was on hand at the Rubio Long Snapping Season Prep Camp in CA, New York in September and NC/GA in November and was very impressive.

What is SoloShot? Basically, the subject (whomever you want to film) wears a “tag” (size of a watch) and the SoloShot follows that person, non-stop, for as long as you want. It is kind of creepy, but in a good way and can be done from 2,000 feet away.

You use any video camera you want, you set it up on top of the SoloShot which is on a tripod. Boom. Done. A parent or coach can now actually see real life instead of always behind a small viewing screen.
