Long time Rubio Long Snapper, and staff member, Matt Fortin will be awarded a full scholarship at the University of Virginia in the fall!

Fortin is a tremendous example of size does not matter in a top quality Long Snapper. He is roughly 5’10” and maybe 180 but is lethal with his snapping. He is beyond accurate and has exquisite form to create excellent speed for a punt snap.

His comment to me about it truly made my heart full, “Thanks for all of your help. Never would have been possible if it weren’t for you. I can’t even begin to describe how thankful I am for everything that you have done for me.”

I am extremely proud of Fortin. As good a Long Snapper as he is, he is a better person. Congratulations once again!!!!
