Who will win the National Championship game?

Since there are a total of FIVE Rubio Long Snappers between Alabama and Notre Dame, I don’t care who wins!

As always, I am pulling for a 0-0 tie with tons of punts and some great slow motion shots on all the punts!

Rubio Long Snappers Featured in 2013 NFL Playoffs

Three former Rubio Long Snapper Alumni will be featured in the upcoming NFL Playoffs kicking off this weekend! Those Long Snappers Include:

Jonathan Weeks – Houston Texans

Former Rubio Long Snapper and Baylor Bear Jon Weeks has been the trusted hand for the Houston Texans for the last 3 seasons, starting every game. Weeks joined the Texans in 2010 and made the team after training camp, he has started since. Look for Weeks and the Texans this weekend against the Bengals, whom they eliminated last year from the playoffs.

Nick Sundberg – Washington Redskins

Sunberg broke into the league with the Carolina Panthers in 2009 as a Free Agent and continued his career with the Baltimore Ravens eventually winding up with the Redskins in 2010. Nick appeared in 16 games last year and 8 this year for the Skins. Nick and the Redskins are taking on the Seattle Seahawks in this weekend’s NFL Wildcard Playoff round.

Aaron Brewer – Denver Broncos

The 6’5” Brewer is a rookie and has appeared in all 16 games this year for the Broncos. Known not only for his excellent Long Snapping Skills, but for his long blond locks, Brewer made his first career Special Teams tackle in week 8 of this season. The Rubio Long Snapping and San Diego State alum will be featured in the coming weeks as the Broncos have the number one seed in the upcoming AFC playoffs!

Rubio Long Snapper Carson Tinker of Alabama chosen for The Senior Bowl!

Long time Rubio Long Snapper Carson Tinker of the University of Alabama has been selected to play in The Senior Bowl!

According to The Senior Bowl website:

The Senior Bowl is home to a one-of-a-kind NFL Convention. In addition to the two NFL coaching staffs who coach the two Senior Bowl teams each year, over 800 NFL general managers, head coaches, assistant coaches, personnel directors, scouts and other front office personnel from the 32 NFL teams annually attend Senior Bowl Week in Mobile.

Coaching staffs for the game each year are selected by the NFL office. In addition to the coaches, each NFL team chosen by the league to coach the Senior Bowl teams also brings its training, video and equipment staffs to the contest to work with the Senior Bowl players and maximize the many benefits that the players will receive by playing in the contest.

Tinker started attending Rubio Long Snapping camps back in 2007 (profile pic is above), dominated the Spring Event in 2008 and ended up a 5 Star Long Snapper that headed to Alabama. He has gone through a ton in his life and just continues to be a positive role model for Long Snappers, and your average Joes, around the U.S.

Rubio Long Snapper Evan Jacobsen of New Mexico chosen for the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl!

Long, and I mean long, time Rubio Long Snapper Evan Jacobsen of New Mexico has been chosen to play in the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl in Los Angeles on January 19th!

This bowl will give “100 NFL prospects the opportunity to showcase their talent in front of 25,000 football fans. Former NFL coaches and players unite to engage and educate top players”

Evan has been with Rubio Long Snapping since 2007 and finished his high school career as the #1 Long Snapper for his class. He is a terrific Long Snapper that exerts a ton of energy on each snap.
